Three Days of Science, Innovation and Collaboration
The 2nd International Conference on Thermochemical Conversion & Bioenergy (TCCB 2026) brought together researchers, PhD students, industry representatives and experts working in the field of thermochemical conversion, biomass utilisation and sustainable energy.
BioTrainValue was proud to be a partner of the 2nd International Conference on Thermochemical Conversion & Bioenergy (TCCB 2026), held in Łódź from 24 to 26 September 2026. The conference provided an opportunity to present recent research, exchange knowledge and ideas, and establish new international connections.
Over three days, participants took part in scientific sessions, poster presentations, discussions and networking activities, creating a space for both scientific exchange and collaboration.
Sharing Research and New Ideas
TCCB 2026 featured 18 oral presentations and 20 scientific posters, covering a broad range of topics related to thermochemical conversion and sustainable energy technologies.
The scientific programme included research on biomass conversion, pyrolysis, gasification, torrefaction, biofuels, hydrogen production, process optimisation and sustainable energy systems.
The presentations and poster sessions provided an opportunity for researchers at different stages of their careers to share their latest findings and discuss new approaches to the challenges facing the bioenergy sector.
More Than Just a Conference
TCCB 2026 was not only an opportunity to present and discuss scientific research. The conference also provided a valuable opportunity to meet colleagues from different institutions, exchange experiences and develop new professional connections.
Coffee breaks, informal discussions, social activities and the conference programme created many opportunities for participants to connect beyond the scientific sessions.
These moments of interaction are an important part of building the international research community and creating opportunities for future collaboration.
